Regent Group awarded membership of the World Economic Forum

Regent Group’s joint CEOs Selva and Tharshiny Pankaj are proud to announce that Regent Group has joined the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a member of the New Champions Network. WEF brings together government, businesses and civil society to improve the world. Making the world a better place is central to Regent Group’s ethos. Regent Group contributes to WEF’s goals, including fostering economic growth and investing in talent and human capital, by creating high quality jobs globally and by sharing world-leading education opportunities across borders.

The belief in the power of human ingenuity, entrepreneurship, innovation and cooperation is at the heart of WEF. Regent Group’s ethos the end of education is character, the promotion of Natural Intelligence and belief in the transformational potential of education aligns Regent Group with WEF.

Regent Group and WEF also share a commitment to peace and security, and equity and inclusion. Since 2018 Regent Group’s Global Unity Dinner (GUD) and Forum has promoted peace, while Regent Group’s role in championing equality and diversity has been recognised at the GG2 Leadership and Diversity awards for two years running; Regent Group won the GG2 Equality Diversity &Inclusion Award for Excellence in Education in 2023 and Regent Group joint CEO Tharshiny Pankaj won CEO of the year in 2024.

Regent Group’s membership of WEF is both the beginning of an important relationship, where Regent Group can contribute to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, and the culmination of the effort and entrepreneurship of the whole Regent Group family.
